Job summary

HSBC in Sydney is seeking a Head of Structuring & Solutions within Global Trade Solutions to lead complex trade finance structuring across markets. The role partners with front-line sales, client management, and regional teams to design bespoke open account solutions and drive revenue.

You will apply extensive knowledge of trade finance, working capital management, and cross-border deal structuring, while developing global and local market input and maintaining risk discipline.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of global trade finance structures.
• Strong understanding of working capital management.
• Proven track record in closing large structured trades.
• Ability to pitch to internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Grow structured propositions in Global Trade Solutions with senior stakeholders.
• Structure complex trade finance solutions across Receivables Finance, Asset Based Lending, Supply Chain and Open Account.
• Provide technical knowledge to product, proposition, and sales teams.
• Draft customer documents, pitch books and indicative term sheets.
• Maintain risk culture and ensure high-quality client service.
