UBS in Sydney is seeking an experienced senior banker for the Global Banking team to lead debt advisory with a focus on capital structure and financing solutions. You will originate opportunities, structure tailored financing, and drive cross-border execution across bank and capital markets.

You will guide deal teams, manage lenders and investors, and mentor junior bankers while delivering high-quality client materials and strategic advisory outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in investment banking or debt advisory with focus on capital structure.
• Proven track record leading complex debt transactions across bank and capital markets.
• Strong senior stakeholder engagement and ability to originate business.
• Leadership in deal teams and mentoring juniors.

Responsabilités

• Originate and lead execution of complex debt advisory mandates, including refinancing, acquisition financing and capital structure optimisation.
• Structure and negotiate tailored financing solutions, managing engagement with lenders and investors to achieve optimal terms and market outcomes.
• Drive business development and pipeline generation, leveraging relationships to originate new advisory opportunities across public and private market clients.
• Lead end-to-end transaction processes, coordinating internal product partners and external stakeholders.
• Oversee deal execution and team delivery, ensuring high-quality analytical output, client materials and mentoring of junior bankers.
