Job summary

HSBC Corporate & Institutional Banking in Sydney is seeking a Director for International Mid Markets. You will originate and manage relationships with internationally focused corporates, including ASX-listed and sponsor-backed groups, across Australian and global markets.

You will lead strategic client initiatives, structure complex facilities, and work within HSBC’s broad product framework to deliver superior client service and sustainable revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Corporate Banking with strong client management.
• Deep knowledge of the Australian corporate banking space.
• Strong knowledge of product solutions including trade and receivables finance and transactional banking.
• Ability to manage complex clients internationally, listed and sponsor-backed.
• Customer service focus to build lasting relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• In-depth analytical skills with disciplined credit quality and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to manage client relationships and referrals to product partners.
• Grow sustainable revenues through new Corporate Banking clients with international focus.
• Structure credit facilities balancing customer and HSBC interests within prudent banking.
• Maintain knowledge of external factors influencing international business.
• Ensure timely maintenance of deal and customer information on the Group systems.
• Establish a network with origination space and promote HSBC in the marketplace.
