Gough Recruitment is seeking a National Asset Manager to establish and lead a national asset management function across a diverse property portfolio with a strong Office component. You will report to the CEO and join the Executive Leadership Team to drive performance and value, while implementing governance and reporting across Australia.

You will develop strategy with the CEO and executive team, oversee leasing, budgeting and capital expenditure, and lead internal and external teams with travel

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years' experience in property and asset management across national portfolios.
• Experience establishing, scaling or transforming an asset management function.
• Strong commercial acumen in leasing, financial performance and capital planning.

An established, privately owned property group is seeking a National Asset Manager to establish and lead its national asset management function across a diverse portfolio of retail, commercial, industrial and residential assets with a strong Office component.

Reporting directly to the CEO and joining the Executive Leadership Team, you will drive portfolio performance, maximise asset value and establish consistent governance, reporting and operating frameworks across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the national asset management function, including governance, reporting and operating frameworks.
• Drive portfolio performance, income growth, asset optimisation and long-term value creation.
• Develop asset management strategy in collaboration with the CEO, Directors and executive team.
• Oversee & drive leasing, tenant mix, capital expenditure, budgeting and financial performance.
• Lead and develop internal teams and external service providers across multiple locations.
• Implement consistent performance measurement, reporting and accountability processes.
• Manage key relationships with financial institutions, valuers, councils and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to acquisitions, developments and broader investment decisions.
• Undertake regular interstate travel to maintain oversight of assets and local teams.

About You

You are a commercially astute property executive with a proven track record of managing complex portfolios, improving performance and leading geographically dispersed teams.

You will bring:

• 10+ years' experience in property and asset management, ideally across diverse national portfolios with strong Office experience.
• Experience establishing, scaling or transforming an asset management function.
• Strong commercial acumen and expertise in leasing, financial performance, capital planning and portfolio optimisation.
• Proven ability to implement governance frameworks, reporting standards and consistent operating processes.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and experience managing internal teams and external service providers.
• Confidence engaging with owners, Directors, executives and key external stakeholders.
• A hands-on, outcomes-driven approach and willingness to travel nationally.
