Job summary

R.E Talent is seeking a Property Manager / Asset Manager (Office) to oversee a large, multi-tenanted commercial office asset on the CBD fringe. You will focus on tenant relationships, lease renewals, and overseeing property management.

2 x roles available, Junior & Senior—immediate start preferred. You will work with an on-site Facilities Manager and Engineer to drive commercial and tenant-facing outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in commercial property management/asset management.
• Experience managing multi-tenanted commercial office or retail buildings.
• Strong communication and ability to handle difficult stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of commercial leases, rent reviews and statutory obligations.
• Strong financial acumen across budgeting, reporting and outgoings reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and manage enquiries and disputes.
• Oversee lease renewals, rent reviews and lease administration.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, outgoings reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Manage tenant correspondence and formal/legal documentation.
• Collaborate with on-site Facilities Manager and Engineer on maintenance/compliance.
• Conduct property inspections and ensure statutory compliance.

THE ROLE

This is a site-based position managing a large busy, multi-tenanted commercial office asset on the CBD fringe. The role focuses heavily on tenant relationships, lease renewals, and overseeing property management. You'll work closely with an on-site Facilities Manager and Engineer on site, allowing you to focus on the commercial and tenant-facing aspects of the property.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, handling enquiries, disputes and ongoing communication
• Oversee lease renewals, rent reviews and lease administration
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, outgoings reconciliations and financial reporting
• Manage tenant correspondence, including formal and legal documentation
• Work closely with the Facilities Manager and Engineer on maintenance and compliance matters
• Conduct property inspections and ensure statutory compliance
• Manage the owner / client’s expectations

THE PERSON

• 5+ years' experience in commercial property management/asset management
• Strong experience managing multi-tenanted commercial office or retail buildings
• Confident communicator & strong willed operator who can who can handle difficult stakeholders
• Sound understanding of commercial leases, rent reviews and statutory obligations
• Strong financial acumen across budgeting, reporting and outgoings reconciliations
• NSW Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence
• Available for an immediate start or at short notice (ideally but essential)
