Job summary

The Hassett Group is seeking an experienced Head of Assets & Operations in Victoria to join the senior leadership team. You will drive asset portfolio performance, lead multiple functional teams and oversee technology-enabled transformation across capital projects and operations.

You will lead complex systems and change management initiatives, ensuring investments deliver measurable operational and commercial benefits. This is a senior executive role reporting to the CEO.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience across operations, asset management or infrastructure.
• Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and improving business performance.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, cost management and strategic planning.
• Experience overseeing capital projects, asset lifecycle management and operational risk.

As the business enters its next phase of development, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Assets & Operations to join the senior leadership team and drive performance across its asset portfolio, operational functions and strategic initiatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a broad executive leadership position spanning asset management, business operations, capital projects, technology-enabled transformation and continuous improvement. Leading multiple functional teams, you will take ownership of operational performance, asset reliability, commercial outcomes and the delivery of key business initiatives.

A significant focus of the role will be leading complex systems and technology projects, improving how information, processes and operational platforms integrate across the business. You will play a hands‑on role in project planning, system design, implementation and change management, ensuring technology investments deliver measurable operational and commercial benefits.
