Bond University on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Accessibility & Inclusion Manager to lead the DIAP and drive equitable practice across faculties and central teams. You will translate policy into meaningful action, build staff capability and maintain student connections through complex case management.
The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on expertise in accessibility, inclusion and risk, including overseeing complex student matters and admission reviews to ground
Competenze
- Experience in accessibility, disability, inclusion or equity, preferably within higher education.
- Experience leading and developing staff, including workload management and professional development.
- Strong knowledge of disability and accessibility legislation, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), policy and sector practice.
- Expertise in complex student accessibility matters, including reasonable adjustments, inherent requirements, placements, complaints and appeals.
- Knowledge of neuroaffirming and trauma-informed approaches and their application to practice and service delivery.
- Strong communication, influencing and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, build capability and strengthen shared responsibility for inclusion.
- Strategic and evidence-informed approach to accessibility, risk, data and continuous improvement.
