Job summary

The Esplanade at Brighton in South Australia is ALH Hotels’ flagship beachfront pub, and we seek a Head Chef to lead the kitchen with true ownership of performance and culture.

This hands-on role requires trade cooking qualifications, food safety certs, and a vision to deliver elevated pub dining; you’ll partner with the Publican and FOH to drive a high-performing team and a memorable guest experience.

Salary:From $100,000 + superannuation + bonus

Having recently undergone extensive renovations,The Esplanade at Brightonis set to become South Australia’s flagship hospitality destination. A premium beachfront venue encompassing a high-quality bistro offering, accommodation, multiple bars, and state-of-the-art gaming facilities. Designed to deliver an elevated yet authentic pub experience, this venue will set a new benchmark for coastal hospitality in SA.

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

• You’ve got the experience, confidence, and pride to own the kitchen and make it shine
• You’ve got trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications sorted
