Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a Head Chef to lead The Esplanade kitchen in Brighton, SA, a flagship beachfront venue undergoing renovations. You will own the kitchen, drive performance and culture, and deliver high-quality pub dining in a premium coastal setting.

You will manage hands-on operations, lead a high-performing team, ensure food safety and profitability, and collaborate with the Publican and FOH staff to create exceptional guest experiences.

• Hands-on leadership in a busy kitchen environment.
• Proven track record with high standards of food safety and quality.
• Ability to own and drive performance and culture in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead the kitchen operations to ensure smooth, safe, and profitable service.

• Maintain strong connection between kitchen and front of house with positive energy.
