Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, a leading cancer centre in Camperdown/Sydney, seeks a Head and Neck Research and Clinical Trials Manager. The role oversees end-to-end head and neck trials, coordinating investigators, sponsors, and regulatory bodies to ensure protocol compliance and audit readiness.

You will drive patient recruitment, consent, and data integrity in line with ICH-GCP standards, while supporting new submissions and research outputs in a collaborative environment.

Qualificações

• Experience managing clinical trials in oncology or specialist hospital settings.
• Solid knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, TGA requirements, and HREC processes.
• Ability to coordinate across surgeons, radiation and medical oncologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with clinical trial management systems.
• Strong organisational skills to manage concurrent protocols without compromising data quality.
• A health science, nursing, or related qualification.
• Legal right to work in Australia; sponsorship is not offered.
• WWCC and National Police Check current or willing to obtain.
• Compliance with Category A immunisation requirements.

Head and Neck Research and Clinical Trials Manager

Chris O'Brien Lifehouse is one of Australia's leading comprehensive cancer centres, bringing together clinical care, research, and education under one roof in Camperdown, Sydney. What You'll Be Leading

• Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of head and neck clinical trials, from site set-up and ethics submissions through to close-out and reporting


• Acting as the primary liaison between investigators, sponsors, and regulatory bodies to ensure protocol compliance and audit readiness


• Coordinating patient recruitment, consent processes, and data integrity in alignment with ICH-GCP standards


• Supporting new trial submissions and contributing to grant applications and academic outputs

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience managing clinical trials within an oncology or specialist hospital environment


• Sound knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, TGA requirements, and HREC processes


• Proven ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiation and medical oncologists


• Experience with clinical trial management systems and research governance frameworks


• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage concurrent protocols without compromising data quality


• A tertiary qualification in a health science, nursing, or related discipline


• Legal right to work in Australia – we regret, no sponsorship is offered for this position


• Current working with children check (WWCC).


• National Police Check not more than 6 months old or willingness to obtain.


• Compliance with Category A health worker immunisation.
