Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, located in Camperdown, is seeking a Clinical Trials Finance Officer to manage billing for the Clinical Trials Department. You will lead the transition of trial billing from Finance to the Clinical Trials team and work with Finance to validate payment histories before transition.

Key duties include coordinating with the RealTime CTMS Specialist to ensure accurate data transfer and payment terms, and collaborating with Study Coordinators to align timelines and obligations.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or equivalent.
• Finance officer/administrator experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time management, organisation and planning with autonomy.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in Clinical Trials or Healthcare finance is desirable.
• Knowledge of contracts, accrual logic and billing schedules is desirable.
• Tech-1 experience is highly desired.

The Opportunity

The Clinical Trials Finance Officer will primarily be responsible for the processing and management of billing for work completed by the Clinical Trials Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project manage the transition of Clinical trial billing from the Finance team to Clinical Trial department
• Work closely with the Finance department to determine status of each trial payment history and schedule prior to transition
• Work closely RealTime CTMS Specialist in Clinical trials to ensure accurate transition of data and scheduled payment terms and conditions
• Work closely with Study Coordinators

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.
• Highly proficient and experienced Finance Officer/Administrator.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Advance time management, organisation and planning skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
• High attention to detail and advanced level of accuracy.
• Advance skills in the use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working in Clinical Trials and/or Healthcare finance (desirable)
• Knowledge of contract, accrual logic, billing schedules. (desirable)
• Tech-1 experience highly desired
