Job summary

Speedy Bins, a Brisbane-based waste solutions company, is expanding and seeks experienced HC/HR/MR drivers for skip and hook truck fleets. The role requires valid Queensland licences, at least 12 months’ experience, and ability to start early with pre-start checks and load securing. Training will be provided and immediate start is possible.

Benefits include uniforms/PPE, up to 40 hours per week with overtime, and a safety-focused team environment in well-maintained vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid unrestricted QLD HC, HR and/or MR licence (HC/HR/MR).
• Minimum 12 months driving experience.
• Available for early morning starts and daily pre-start checks.
• Able to tarp/de-tarp bins and secure loads with straps and chains.
• Physically capable of entering/exiting trucks 20+ times per shift.
• Reliable with a positive can-do attitude; teamwork and safety focus.
• White Card held or willing to obtain.
• Prefer understanding of waste industry; full training provided.
• Immediate start.

About the role

Our business is expanding and we require experienced HC, HR and MR Drivers to operate our Skip and Hook Truck fleet. This is a key role within our business and a fantastic opportunity where your hard work will be noticed and rewarded.

Requirements

• Must holda current and valid unrestricted QLD HC, HR and/or MR licence
• Must have 12 months minimum driving experience
• Must be available for early morning starts
• Perform and record daily vehicle pre-start and post-checks
• Be physically able to complete tarping/de-tarping of bins, secure loads on trucks with straps and chains, entering/exiting trucks 20+ times per shift
• Reliable, trustworthy and have a positive 'can do attitude', flexible to change, efficient, and ability to problem solve
• Willingness to work as part of a successful team and a commitment to safety
• General Construction Induction Card (white card) or willingness to achieve
• Preferred understanding of the waste industry, however, full training will be provided to successful applicants
• Immediate start
