Rangedale in Melbourne is seeking an experienced, safety-focused HR Hook Lift and Marrel Skip Truck Driver to join our busy operations. You will service commercial, industrial and construction sites across Melbourne from our Altona North depot, handling bins with care and precision.

Qualifications

• Current HC or HR Licence required and valid.
• Construction Induction Safety Card (White Card) required.
• 1–2 years of experience operating Hook lift (roll-on/roll-off) or Marrel skip setups.
• Strong spatial awareness and reversing skills.
• Reliable, punctual and physically fit with a positive customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Heavy Rigid (HR) Hook Lift trucks and Marrel skip trucks.
• Deliver, position, swap, and collect bins on customer sites, navigating tight lanes or busy zones.
• Ensure all loads are tarped/covered before transit.
• Complete daily vehicle pre-start checks and report maintenance faults immediately.
• Use in-cab tablet to manage runs, log bin drops and capture customer signatures.
• Maintain adherence to NHVR fatiguing laws, CoR and site safety protocols.
• Secure a permanent full-time position with consistent work and overtime as available.

Rangedale are a leading waste management company experiencing significant growth. We are seeking an experienced, safety-focused HR Hook Lift and Marrel Skip Truck Driver to join our busy team.

Operating out of our Altona North depot, you will be responsible for servicing commercial, industrial, and construction clients across Melbourne.

This is a physical role involving the drop-off, collection, and tipping of large hook bins and Marrel skip bins at various resource recovery centres and transfer stations.

Your primary responsibilities will include picking up full sealed bins, emptying them, and returning to designated sites.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate Heavy Rigid (HR) Hook Lift trucks and Marrel skip trucks.

Deliver, position, swap, and collect bins on customer sites, often navigating tight industrial lanes or busy construction zones.

Ensure all loads are legally and securely tarped/covered before transit.

Complete daily vehicle pre-start checks and report any maintenance faults immediately.

Utilize an in-cab digital tablet system to manage daily runs, log bin drops, and secure customer signatures.

Maintain strict adherence to NHVR fatiguing laws, chain of responsibility (CoR), and site safety protocols.

What We Are Looking For

Current HC or HR Licence (Licence checks will be carried out)

Must hold a Construction Induction Safety Card (White Card)

Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience operating Hook lift (roll-on/roll-off) or Marrel skip setups.

Strong spatial awareness and reversing skills, with the ability to safely maneouvre heavy vehicles around tight metro spaces.

Reliable, punctual, and physically fit to manage tarping and chain adjustments. A positive "can-do" attitude toward customer service.
