Job summary

Workhorse Staffing is seeking an experienced HR Driver for a busy industrial operation in the Blacktown area. This role offers consistent Monday–Friday work with overtime opportunities and strong earning potential.

Previous hooklift or skip bin experience is highly regarded, and knowledge of Sydney roads will help you succeed. You will operate HR hook lift and skip bin trucks across Sydney, complete paperwork, and maintain safety standards on every job.

Qualifications

• HR Licence held and 2+ years driving experience
• Hooklift/skip bin experience highly regarded
• Experience in waste/recycling/industrial driving advantageous
• Competent with paperwork and electronic documentation
• Good knowledge of Sydney roads and industrial areas
• Strong vehicle manoeuvring and spatial awareness
• Willingness to work significant overtime
• Commitment to safety, quality and communication

Responsibilities

• Operate HR hook lift and skip bin trucks across Sydney and surrounding areas
• Collect and deliver skip bins and materials
• Perform load restraints before/after delivery
• Safe loading, unloading and positioning of bins
• Maneuver vehicles safely within industrial and customer sites
• Complete daily pre-start checks and required paperwork
• Communicate professionally with customers and site teams
• Follow routes, site procedures and transport requirements
• Report hazards or vehicle faults promptly
• Adhere to road safety, quality and communication standards

THE ROLE

• Operate HR hook lift and skip bin trucks across Sydney and surrounding areas
• Collect and deliver skip bins and materials
• Thorough load restraints before and after each delivery
• Safe loading, unloading and positioning of bins
• Manoeuvre vehicles safely within industrial and customer sites
• Complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation accurately
• Communicate professionally with customers, site personnel and operations teams
• Follow designated routes, site procedures and transport requirements
• Complete daily vehicle pre-starts and safety checks
• Identify and report hazards, vehicle faults and safety concerns immediately
• Follow strict road safety, quality and communication standards in the workplace

ABOUT YOU

• Current HR Driver Licence and 2+ years experience
• Hooklift and/or skip bin experience highly regarded
• Previous waste, recycling, construction or industrial driving experience advantageous
• Confident completing paperwork, pre-starts and electronic documentation
• Good knowledge of Sydney roads and industrial areas
• Strong spatial awareness and vehicle manoeuvring skills
• Comfortable working significant overtime
• Strong focus on safety, quality and communication requirements
