Job summary

JUMBO is seeking a local truck driver to operate in Brisbane and surrounding areas. You will load, transport and tip skip bins for domestic, commercial and construction clients, while maintaining professional presentation and clear customer communication.

Casual to start, with full-time opportunities after probation. The role emphasises reliability, a professional appearance, and strong teamwork as you represent us on busy sites from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast.

Qualifications

• QLD HR licence is required; MR considered.
• Experience with skip bins or similar trucks.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and professional presentation.
• Comfortable with physical work and climbing in/out of cab.
• Own PPE: steel caps, hi-vis, safety glasses.
• Right to work in Australia; own transport; clear communication with customers.
• Available Monday to Friday 6am–5pm, with potential Saturday work.

THE WORK

Loading, transporting, unloading and tipping skip bins for domestic, commercial, construction and demolition customers. Between runs there's vehicle upkeep, equipment care, maintenance, and yard duties - the stuff that keeps a good operation running.

You're the face of the business on every site. Know the road rules, obey them, and treat every customer like they're the one paying your wage - because they are.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Valid QLD HR truck licence (MR considered)

• Experience in skip bins or similar trucks

• Good work ethic, can-do attitude, and the professionalism to represent us well

• Comfortable with the physical side - climbing on and off the truck and in and out of the cab throughout the day

• Your own steel caps, hi-vis and safety glasses

• Neat and organised - presentable loads, tidy truck, gear where it should be

• Right to work in Australia, own transport, and clear communication with customers and the office

• Reliable and available 6am–5pm, Monday to Friday

Job type: Casual, with full-time available after probation

Hours: Monday–Friday, 6am–5pm. Saturday work available

Based: Brisbane, QLD (must be able to commute reliably)
