Job summary

Programmed GO is hiring for a hands-on HC Driver and Labourer to support road maintenance and asphalt projects across the region. You will operate HC vehicles, transport materials, and assist the crew with labouring tasks, while adhering to safety procedures and pre-start checks.

The role offers casual ongoing employment with consistent work, overtime opportunities, and the chance to gain experience with a leading Australian road and infrastructure company.

Qualifications

• Current HC Driver Licence required.
• Current White Card required.
• Experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Willingness to perform general labouring duties.
• Reliable, hardworking with good communication.
• Flexibility to travel and work away from home.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate HC vehicles safely and efficiently.

• Follow traffic management and safety procedures.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position involving both HC driving and general labouring duties, supporting road maintenance and asphalt projects throughout the region.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate HC vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials, equipment and supplies to various worksites.
• Assist the road/asphalt crew with general labouring duties when required.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report any vehicle issues.
• Follow all traffic management and workplace safety procedures.
• Travel to different project sites throughout the region.
• Be available for early starts, overtime and occasional weekend work.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current HC Driver Licence.
• Current White Card.
• Previous experience operating heavy vehicles.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability and willingness to complete general labouring duties.
• Reliable, hardworking attitude with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing.
