Cucinetta, a long-standing Italian fine-dining restaurant overlooking Sydney Harbour, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead front-of-house service with warmth and poise. You will work closely with the Chef and team to deliver memorable dining experiences, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

The role requires a hands-on, service-driven leader capable of managing busy floors, coordinating reservations, and guiding FOH staff across shifts in a premium, harbour-side setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar premium dining hospitality role.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Availability for weekends, evenings and events.
• Polite, professional and guest-focused.

Responsibilities

• Deliver premium front-of-house service with genuine care and professionalism.
• Assist in daily operations including service flow, reservations, and team coordination.
• Support and motivate FOH staff to uphold Cucinetta’s service standards.
• Manage guest relations and ensure every customer feels valued and welcomed.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, floor setup, and cash handling.
• Liaise with the kitchen to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Uphold cleanliness, presentation, and ambience at all times.
• Step in confidently when the Manager or Owner is away — maintaining consistency and control.
