Job summary

SRG Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead the floor at one of Sydney’s premier venues in Barangaroo. You’ll support the Restaurant Manager, mentor the FOH team, and maintain service standards to deliver memorable guest experiences across busy shifts.

You have NSW RSA, premium hospitality experience, strong leadership, financial awareness for rostering and cost control, and a passion for hospitality that motivates the team.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in hospitality or restaurant settings.
• Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations and service principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform under high-pressure, fast-paced service.
• Financial acumen for budgeting, rostering and cost control.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate meaningful guest connections on the floor during busy service.
• Own operational excellence: briefings, floor plan and shift discipline.
• Lead and develop the FOH team: training and performance planning.
• Ensure smooth information flow between shifts and teams.
• Exercise sound judgement to manage labour and service issues.
• Collaborate with kitchen, reservations, events and management.
