Kuro Bar & Dining in Sydney CBD is seeking a Floor Manager to support the General Manager, oversee daily floor operations, and lead the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding dining experiences. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in fine dining.
• Strong knowledge of wine and beverage service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily operations and floor management
• Oversee floor operations and service standards during shifts
• Lead and support the front-of-house team, providing guidance and training as needed
• Advise guests on wine selections and pairings across our list
• Proactively upsell food and wine items — going beyond order-taking to identify opportunities that enhance the guest experience and drive revenue
• Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and efficiently
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
