Job summary

Trippas White Group is launching an elevated Me-Gal dining concept at Taronga Zoo. We are building a leadership team to deliver premium hospitality and genuine guest connection in a uniquely located restaurant with spectacular Sydney Harbour views.

You will lead from the front, shaping a culture of excellence, training teams, and maintaining service standards across all front-of-house operations. RSA, WHS and payroll familiarity are essential for daily oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience as Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager, or Senior Assistant Manager in hatted restaurants.
• Sound knowledge of RSA, WHS and hospitality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coach management and service teams.
• Set and maintain high standards across the venue.
• Create a positive, professional, accountable team culture.
• Deliver regular training and meaningful performance feedback.
• Build a service culture based on awareness, timing and genuine connection.
• Manage rosters, labour and staffing in line with trade and budget.
• Maintain strong operational, financial and compliance standards.
• Oversee guest feedback, reservations, events and group bookings.
• Take ownership of venue presentation, stock control and daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
