Job summary

The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) is building a talent pool for Harbour Management Officers to support Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and Two Rocks Marina. The role focuses on frontline customer service, financial administration, and facility operations across three metropolitan venues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front-line customer service environment with cash handling, receipting and reconciliation procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to interact with officers at all levels.
• Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise and meet timeframes with limited supervision.
• Ability to analyse, evaluate, solve problems and make decisions.
• Proven competency with a PC and accounting-related software and daily financial cash management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation and management of maritime facilities.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to harbour users and stakeholders.
• Assist with customer enquiries, boat pen allocations and financial administration.
• Contribute to safe, efficient and sustainable facility operation.
