Job summary

Fremantle Ports is seeking committed Port Services Officers to join our casual pool in the Inner Harbour and WA operations. You will perform mooring and vessel service activities and security duties, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

In this hands-on role, you will engage in security patrols, emergency response, pollution control, and shore-based operations. Training and continuous improvement are part of our CARE culture and shift-driven work environment.

• Participate in wharf operations and general port services.
• Liaise with customers, contractors and shipping representatives.
• Participate in training, drills and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Highlights

Working within the Operations Division, the Port Services Officer is a diverse role that plays a critical part in contributing to growth and prosperity of Fremantle Ports Inner Harbour and Western Australia.

This is a Casual Pool for Port Services Officers in various shift environments with several positions available. The hourly rate range is $55.09 to $70.28.

In this diverse, hands-on role, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering effective mooring, unmooring and vessel service activities.
• Undertaking security control room duties including CCTV operation, conducting vehicle & foot security patrols and static guard house duties.
• Assisting with emergency response activities and pollution spill management.
• Operating shore tension equipment and supporting shipping services.
• Participating in wharf operations, vessel servicing and general port services activities.
• Liaising with customers, contractors, shipping representatives and other stakeholders.
• Participating in training, drills and continuous improvement initiatives to support safe and efficient operations.
