Job summary

Fremantle Ports is seeking committed Port Services Officers to join our casual pool in the Inner Harbour and WA operations. You will perform mooring and vessel service activities and security duties, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

In this hands-on role, you will engage in security patrols, emergency response, pollution control, and shore-based operations. Training and continuous improvement are part of our CARE culture and shift-driven work environment.

Qualifications

• Safety and security principles in port/industrial settings.
• Strong emphasis on workplace health and safety compliance.
• Proven ability to liaise with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mooring, unmooring and vessel service activities.
• Operate CCTV and conduct security patrols; support guard house duties.
• Assist with emergency response and pollution spill management.
• Operate shore tension equipment and support shipping services.
• Participate in wharf operations and general port services.
• Liaise with customers, contractors and shipping representatives.
• Participate in training, drills and continuous improvement initiatives.
