Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. Ramada Resort Golden Beach is seeking an experiencedMaintenance Officer to join our team and help keep the resort in peak condition.

This hands-on role covers maintenance of rooms and grounds, minor repairs, and guest assistance, with a rotating roster that includes nights, weekends and public holidays. You’ll bring practical skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, gardening, and general maintenance, work independently, and reflect our service standards in every interaction

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in a busy hotel environment.
• Experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting, gardening, and general maintenance.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in rotating rosters.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rooms and grounds.

How You’ll Shine

As a friendly and experienced maintenanceall-rounder to join our team. The successful candidate will assist our maintenance department and will preferably have experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting, gardening, and general maintenance.

• Maintenance of rooms/grounds
• Inspection & reporting of faults
• Reporting all maintenance issues as required
• Assisting guests when required

This is a busy hands-on role that requires a motivated can-do person with great time management skills and a desire to make the property the best it can be!

What You’ll Bring

• Enjoy multi-tasking and working in a dynamic and busy environment
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner that reflects the company in a positive manner
• Have a 'can-do' attitude, eye for detail and display enthusiasm at all times
• Previous experience within a hotel maintenance environment would be preferable.
• Ability to work unsupervised and an exceptional eye for detail are key requirements of this role.
• You will be required to work a rotating roster including, nights, weekends and public holidays
