Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. on the Gold Coast invites applications for a hands-on Maintenance Officer in a busy hospitality setting. You will maintain rooms and grounds, inspect for faults, and report issues while assisting guests as required.

Experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and gardening is preferred, with a can‑do attitude and strong time management to keep the property in top condition. Rotating shifts including nights and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in hotel/hospitality settings.
• Ability to work unsupervised and cover rotating rosters (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

How You’ll Shine

As a friendly and experienced maintenance all‑rounder to join our team. The successful candidate will assist our maintenance department and will preferably have experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting, gardening, and general maintenance.

• Maintenance of rooms/grounds
• Inspection & reporting of faults
• Reporting all maintenance issues as required
• Assisting guests when required

This is a busy hands‑on role that requires a motivated can‑do person with great time management skills and a desire to make the property the best it can be!
