The role is hands-on, requiring collaboration across production departments and a focus on continuous improvement in performance and processes. The successful applicant will have engineering qualifications and a track record in complex manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• Experience leading a maintenance team in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to develop solutions for repetitive failures affecting plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimise maintenance operations to maximise plant efficiency.
• Minimise machine downtime through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with production departments to ensure 24/7 operations.
• Build strong cross-department relationships and coach the maintenance team.
