Job summary

Borg is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator at our Oberon plant to optimise plant performance by managing day-to-day maintenance, ensuring compliance with legislation, site standards, policies and procedures.

The role focuses on safe mechanical operation and reducing unplanned downtime, while supporting proactive maintenance strategies and accurately recording work data in maintenance systems. Reviews of performance reports will drive downtime reduction plans.

Job Details

Expressions of interest are sought for the position, Maintenance Coordinator, at our Oberon plant.

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for optimising plant performance by managing the day‑to‑day plant maintenance, ensuring compliance with legislation, site standards, policies and procedures. The role will maintain the safe mechanical operation of the plant with a target to reduce unplanned downtime while continually supporting and implementing maintenance strategies and procedures. Responsibilities also include contributing to and actively participating in the ongoing transition to pro‑active maintenance services and accurately registering work data in the maintenance systems. The Maintenance Coordinator will review performance reports and develop strategies to reduce downtime and optimise plant performance.

• Trade or Engineering qualifications and experience
• Experience within a continuous production process
• Strong interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between production teams and tradesmen
• Demonstrated experience in relation to downtime reduction strategy development and implementation
• Demonstrated ability to schedule work and manage contractors
