Job summary

Bare Demolition is seeking a practical, organised Workshop Supervisor to oversee day-to-day coordination and maintenance of our fleet and equipment. You will ensure safety, reliability and readiness while improving workshop systems and efficiency.

You will lead servicing, manage parts and record-keeping, and liaise with external repairers. A hands-on, proactive candidate with strong organisational and communication skills is preferred to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing machinery, trucks and equipment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with a hands-on approach.
• Good verbal and written communication with drivers and suppliers.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance for company machinery, trucks, vehicles, tools and equipment.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure servicing and repairs are completed on time.
• Carry out hands-on maintenance, servicing and repairs of power tools and small equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, servicing and repair records.
• Liaise with external repairers, suppliers and service providers as required.
• Assist with managing spare parts, workshop supplies and consumables.
• Prepare and organise tools and equipment for drivers to collect each day and check items back into the workshop upon return.
• Maintain accurate tool and equipment inventories.
• Conduct Test and Tag inspections where appropriately qualified and check tools and equipment for safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Identify opportunities to improve workshop procedures, maintenance systems and operational efficiency.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures.
