Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor based in Northgate, QLD to lead workshop operations and maintain our heavy vehicle fleet. You will drive availability, coach technicians, manage budgets and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Leading Hands, operations teams and suppliers to optimise performance and deliver a reliable, safe fleet to support our operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet maintenance or workshop management for heavy vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge in a heavy vehicle environment.
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing workshop teams.
• HR license (Heavy Rigid) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily workshop operations, scheduling and workflow management.
• Drive fleet availability and minimise downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely repairs and maintenance.
• Coach and develop technicians and workshop staff.
• Ensure safety, NHVR regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Monitor KPIs and manage workshop budgets and parts.
