Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our Northgate, QLD workshop. You will oversee daily operations, allocate jobs through Leading Hands, and drive fleet availability while minimising downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical expertise, leadership and a commitment to safety and compliance. You will coach technicians, manage performance, oversee maintenance programs and budgets, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specs and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet maintenance and heavy vehicle operations.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop workshop teams.
• Sound knowledge of fleet compliance and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily workshop operations and allocate work through Leading Hands.
• Drive fleet availability, minimise downtime and manage repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure cost-efficient maintenance.
• Monitor productivity, labour use and turnaround times.
• Coach and develop technicians, manage performance and succession.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturer specs and regulatory standards.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and manage workshop budgets.
