Busways is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead a depot workshop team, ensuring safe, efficient bus maintenance and operations. You will oversee scheduling, parts supply, and daily activities, mentoring apprentices and coordinating with regional management.

The role requires experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, strong communication, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Training opportunities and career progression are available across the Busways network.

Formación

• Mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills.
• Mentoring apprentices to learn their trade and grow within the team.
• Experience coordinating rosters, leave planning and workshop operations.
• Ability to plan and allocate repair resources for scheduled maintenance and heavy vehicle inspections.
• Adherence to WHS regulations and safe workshop practices.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate rosters and leave planning to align with depot maintenance plans.
• Supervise supply, warranty activities and inventory to support fleet maintenance.
• Oversee daily depot maintenance by workshop staff and contractors.
• Allocate staff to assist with inspections and major repairs to maximise bus availability.
• Ensure timely, quality service and safe, clean workshop operations.
• Train and supervise apprentices and staff in necessary tasks.
• Report and repair accident damage and manage sustainability reporting.
