Job summary

Brighton Coach Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced operations manager to lead the day-to-day management of our coach fleet, drivers and Turrella depot. This hands-on role requires practical knowledge of vehicles, safety checks and fleet performance.

You will recruit and onboard drivers, coordinate daily dispatch and maintenance, oversee depot yard operations and support major events or rail replacements while ensuring compliance and high depot standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing drivers and/or a transport depot.
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations and vehicle maintenance.
• Experience with driver recruitment, induction and training.
• A NSW driver’s licence with MR/HR/HC preferred.
• Bus/coach driving experience and NSW passenger transport operations experience are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of coach fleet, drivers and depot.
• Recruit, interview and onboard new coach drivers.
• Coordinate daily vehicle dispatch and returns.
• Monitor vehicle condition, safety checks and maintenance.
• Ensure depot yard is organized, safe and presentable.
• Support major events and rail replacement operations.
• Respond to urgent operational issues as required.
