Civica in Australia is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 4-6 engineers in Melbourne or Sydney, while contributing technically. You will drive delivery, architecture and product outcomes for citizen-facing government software, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders.

The role combines people leadership with hands-on coding and cloud SaaS delivery. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software engineering and several years leading teams, strong full-stack skills, and

Formación

Lead, coach and support a team of 4-6 engineers.
Lead Agile/Scrum delivery and remove blockers.
Apply coding, system design and software engineering practices.
Experience building cloud-based SaaS products, ideally using AWS or Azure.
Experience with web and API development and DevOps concepts.
