Job summary

Oscars Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager for Pepe’s on the Beach at Novotel Wollongong Northbeach. You will oversee day-to-day operations across restaurant and gaming, lead service on the floor and model high standards of guest experience while supporting the broader management team.

This hands-on leadership role requires RSA/RCG/ARCG (or willingness to obtain), strong communication, problem-solving and a genuine hospitality focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on hospitality leadership.
• RSA/RCG certification and ARCG or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong guest focus and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Venue Manager with day-to-day operation of the venue.
• Lead, support and motivate the FOH team during service.
• Oversee floor operations and ensure high service standards.
• Assist with gaming room management in line with compliance.
