Job summary

Rexel Australia is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Roma branch. This hands-on leadership role balances branch operations, customer service, sales and stock management to support our local trade customers and retail partners.

You will report to the Branch Manager, lead a small team, drive daily performance, coach staff, process orders, and ensure safe, efficient operations while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced regional environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience and a proactive approach to guiding a small team.
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to build trusted relationships with trade and retail customers.
• Willingness to balance leadership duties with hands-on operations.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of the Roma branch.
• Provide outstanding customer service to trade and retail customers.
• Build relationships with local customers and suppliers.
• Coach, support and lead branch team members.
• Process sales, quotations, orders and enquiries accurately.
• Support stock control, receipting, replenishment and general warehouse duties.
• Complete deliveries and ensure safe, efficient branch operations.
• Promote safety culture and high housekeeping.
