Job summary

Direct Collective operates a chain of Serviced Apartment complexes across Queensland, focusing on the Sunshine Coast. The role is based at the Lowanna Beach Resort complex in Buddina/Kawana and requires a minimum of 20 hours per week with flexibility for weekday and every second weekend shifts.

You will support the front office team in achieving daily goals, handling check-ins/check-outs, guest accounts, bookings, and guest requests while upholding company standards and culture.

Qualifications

• Background in Retail or Hospitality/ Accommodation is preferred.
• Availability for various shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Must be reliable, customer-focused and solution oriented.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist front office team with daily goals and targets.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs; settle guest accounts.
• Confirm bookings with guests and liaise with Reservations.
• Handle reservation enquiries and bookings; occasional after-hours phone coverage.
• Ensure guest requests are met promptly and standards are maintained.
• Contribute to profitability and uphold Direct Collective policies.
• Report to management on daily operations and conduct room inspections.

Direct Collective operates a chain of Serviced Apartment complexes located throughout Queensland, with a focus on the Sunshine Coast.

We are currently expanding our team. If you are reliable and customer focused with a Retail or Hospitality/ Accommodation background or experience -

The position requires someone who is solution focused, flexible in their availability and is a team player. The role will be located at our Lowanna Beach Resort complex in Buddina/Kawana on the Sunshine Coast. Expected hours are minimum of 20hrs per week.

We are looking for someone who is flexible to work both weekday and every second weekend shifts.

This role will involve assisting our front office team achieve daily goals and targets including,

Working autonomously/with limited supervision to achieve set outcomes in accommodation operations - managing check-ins, check outs and delivering the best possible guest experience.

Execute the issuing and settling of guest's accounts.

Confirm bookings with guests in advance and liaise with the Reservations Team where required.

Take reservation enquiries and bookings.

Occasional after-hours phone coverage (compensation provided, as required).

Ensure that guest requests are completed accurately and efficiently, focusing on guest needs as a priority.

Ensure that all standards are maintained, profitability is maximized, customer needs are met and adhere to all Direct Collectives policies and procedures.

Work to help develop, protect and promote the company culture and morale.

Report to management regarding daily operations.

Conduct room inspections and audits.

All other duties as outlined by management.

To be successful in role, you will have work rights in Australia, be available to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends and Public Holidays.
