Job summary

Novotel Perth Murray Street is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent to be at the heart of the guest experience in our Front Office. You will check guests in and out, share local insights, and provide personalised service that makes each stay memorable.

Bring a genuine hospitality mindset, calmness under pressure, and a proactive approach to solving guest needs. A rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for hospitality and making guests feel welcome.
• Clear communication and friendly, professional manners.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive approach to solving problems and supporting teammates.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and deliver efficient check-ins and check-outs.
• Notice the little things, anticipate needs and add a personal touch.
• Share local knowledge to help guests discover Perth’s dining and attractions.
• Handle guest enquiries and concerns with empathy and solutions.
• Explain ALL – Accor Live Limitless benefits and assist with enrolments.
• Maintain accurate reservations and guest records, process payments, and perform Front Office tasks.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, F&B and other departments for a seamless stay.

Job Description

As a Guest Service Agent, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience. From a smooth check-in to a thoughtful recommendation, you’ll turn everyday interactions into moments that matter.

In this role, you will:

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth, delivering friendly, efficient check-ins and check-outs.
• Bring the Heartist spirit to life by noticing the little things, anticipating needs and adding a personal touch.
• Share your local knowledge, helping guests discover Perth’s dining, attractions and hidden gems.
• Handle guest enquiries and concerns with empathy, initiative and a focus on finding solutions.
• Introduce guests to ALL – Accor Live Limitless, explaining the benefits and supporting membership enrolments.
• Maintain accurate reservations and guest records, process payments and complete daily Front Office tasks.
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other departments to create a seamless stay.

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Previous experience in hotels, customer service or a guest-facing role.
• Confidence using computer systems; experience with a hotel property management system is an advantage.
