Job summary

QT Melbourne is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Attendant to deliver warm hospitality across our dining spaces. The casual role requires serving guests, taking orders, and ensuring smooth service from the bar to room service.

Candidates should have hospitality experience, knowledge of beverages, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays while maintaining high standards of presentation and guest care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Knowledge of wine and cocktails; training provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate items.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and a collaborative, courteous approach.
• Reliable and resilient under pressure, adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests warmly, hand menus, assist with seating arrangements.
• Take orders accurately, describe menu items, suggest specials, note dietary needs.
• Serve food and beverages across outlets and room service to presentation standards.
• Check in with guests regularly and address requests or concerns.
• Communicate orders to kitchen, present bills and process payments.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and stocked, following safety protocols.
