Job summary

Punthill Maitland in the Hunter Region is seeking a front desk/guest services professional to deliver outstanding guest experiences from check-in to checkout. You’ll work within a friendly team and contribute to memorable stays through thoughtful service and proactive guest engagement.

The role requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; candidates should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Approved Australian working rights.
• First Aid Certificate required or able to obtain before starting.
• RSA Certificate required or able to obtain before starting.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends/public holidays.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the front office provides a high level of guest services at check-in, check-out, and during stay, leading by example.
• Create memorable guest experiences by tailoring service to guest needs.
• Identify new sales leads and contribute to the hotel’s commercial success.
• Manage emergency situations in a safe and professional manner.
• Build strong, authentic relationships with teammates and guests.
