Job summary

Pier One Sydney Harbour, part of Marriott International, invites applications for a Guest Experience Expert to join our front office team. You will handle check-ins, reservations, inquiries, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while delivering warm, professional hospitality.

With OPERA PMS experience and strong customer service, you will build guest relationships, upsell, and promote our venues. This part-time role offers Marriott's training opportunities and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with OPERA property management system or similar.
• At least 2 years experience preferably within a high volume environment.
• Opera experience preferred but not required.
• Outstanding relationship building skills.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Confidence and skills to up sell and promote our venues.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests' service needs and tailor service accordingly.
• Resolve issues to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Manage front office operations including check-ins/outs and reservations.
• Handle complaints and negotiate to resolve conflicts.
• Build relationships with guests and enable future bookings.
• Drive loyalty through loyalty programs and guest experiences.
