Job summary

InterContinental Perth City Centre is seeking a Duty Manager to join a caring, confident and internationally minded team in the heart of Perth. You’ll report to the Reception Manager and oversee guest service and hotel operations, ensuring prompt attention and personal recognition throughout the property.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year’s supervisory hospitality experience, exceptional guest relations, and the ability to lead and develop colleagues through training.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year’s supervisory/leadership experience within hospitality.
• Strong customer relations and ability to handle guest needs promptly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest needs and resolve issues; supervise colleagues during busy periods.
• Greet and farewell guests; lead daily briefings; contribute to team meetings and training.
• Ensure safety and security; communicate with senior leadership in emergencies.
