Job summary

G'day Group in Onslow, WA is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the local housekeeping team and ensure all accommodation, amenities and public areas meet the highest cleanliness standards. This hands-on role coordinates daily operations, supports staff, and delivers an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for creating a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising housekeeping teams in hospitality.
• Strong eye for detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays/peak periods.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train housekeeping staff.
• Allocate daily cleaning schedules and monitor workflow.
• Inspect accommodation units, amenities, and public areas for standards.
• Prepare and present rooms to company standards.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, linen inventory and ordering.
• Monitor safety practices and report maintenance issues.
• Address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Lead by example and assist with cleaning during busy periods.
• Maintain records, checklists and housekeeping reports.
