Job summary

Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo seeks an experienced Front Desk Coordinator to manage front desk operations and guest services across our accommodation experiences. You will work closely with the Accommodation Manager to deliver exceptional stays, ensure safety and maintain facilities.

Essential requirements include a First Aid Certificate, NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol, and a Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or Business-related qualification or an equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and experience.
• First Aid Certificate (at own expense)
• Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (at own expense)
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (at own expense)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day front desk operations across accommodation experiences, ensuring exceptional guest service.
• Recruit, onboard, train and roster front office and reservations team members.
• Maintain high standards of property presentation and upkeep.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping to maintain guest readiness and presentation.
• Provide leadership and resolve escalated guest enquiries and issues.
• Support efficient operation of accommodation products through accurate record keeping and systems.
• Promote safety and WHS compliance, oversee after-hours emergencies, and lead communications.
• Champion sustainability and resource efficiency in operations.
