Job summary

voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley is seeking a Part Time Guest Service Agent to welcome guests, manage bookings, and process payments with warmth and local expertise.

You will respond to guest requests, provide tailored recommendations, and collaborate with the Front Office team to ensure swift check-ins and check-outs, including weekends and holidays.

Knowledge of Opera is a bonus; flexibility, strong communication, and a passion for hospitality will help guests feel at home.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in guest relations, problem solving and time management.
• Experience in a Front Office / Guest Relations role would be advantageous.
• Communication skills to address guest concerns and compliments.
• Ability to read, write, do basic maths and use a computer.

Responsibilities

• Kick off memorable guest experiences with a warm welcome.
• Acknowledge Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or by phone.
• Take, manage, and receive payments for guest bookings.
• Make check-in and check-out swift and seamless.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer tailored recommendations.
• Be knowledgeable about hotel and surroundings to make thoughtful recommendations.
