Job summary

Kirkton Park Hotel Hunter Valley is seeking a Front Office Team Leader to guide our Front Office team and deliver the luxury boutique experience in a stunning Hunter Valley setting.

You will report to the Front Office Manager and supervise reception and reservations, ensuring guest recognition and smooth operations across a 7-day roster. This full-time role requires a NSW RSA and First Aid qualification, with benefits including parking and worldwide discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel Front Office.

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated and passionate Front Office Team Leader looking for a vine change?

Kirkton Park Hotel Hunter Valley is looking for a Full-Time Front Office Team Leader to join our Front Office team!

Kirkton Park Hotel Hunter Valley is on a journey to become the Boutique Hotel destination to have the quintessential Hunter Valley Experience. Located in the heart of Pokolbin, our stunning property is set on 70 acres of rural surroundings, including manicured gardens and a vegetable garden complete with pigs, chickens and picturesque surroundings.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you'll be involved in supporting all pertinent matters affecting guest service and hotel operations to ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition throughout the hotel. You'll play a key role in the delivery of our superior branded guest service experience and will respond to guest needs and issues as they arise. You will also supervise, direct and support the Reception Team with their daily activities, knowledge, development and promotion of associated hotel activities and rewards programs.

As a Kirkton Park host you will a true ambassador for our guest experience journey. You will share your empowered, knowledgeable, engaging and insightful experience with our guests and your fellow colleagues. Your flexible and unscripted approach to delivering our luxury boutique experience will see you deliver a truly unique Hunter Valley experience!

This role will require you to work across a 7-day roster which will include evening, weekends and public holidays.

For this vital role, we’re looking for someone who:

• You'll be an approachable person and have a real passion for providing connecting and seamless service to ensure a memorable guest experience
• Dynamic, vibrant, confident and professional personality
• At least 2 years' experience within a hotel Front Office operation, with exposure to both Reception and Reservation procedures.
• Working knowledge of a hotel property management system such as Opera
• Excellent customer relations, problem solving, decision making and time management skills
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal and willingness to manage multiple tasks, conflicting deadlines and varying guest situations.
• High standard of personal presentation
• The flexibility to work on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• A current New South Wales Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
• A current Australian First Aid qualification
• You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country
