Uber ANZ is seeking a Senior Strategy & Operations Manager for Rider Growth in Sydney. You will identify growth opportunities, build compelling business cases and lead cross-functional teams from strategy through execution to scale.

The role blends strategy, operations and entrepreneurship, with direct influence on senior leaders and hands-on delivery of initiatives that impact rider growth and profitability. Strong SQL/Excel skills and a fast-paced mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, technology or another fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and bias for action: Resourceful, adaptable and relentlessly hands-on.
• Experience representing your company externally with partners, clients, or stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape new growth opportunities by identifying, evaluating and prioritising opportunities to accelerate consumer growth using data and business case modelling.
• Own initiatives end-to-end: develop and execute GTM strategies from value proposition to launch and optimisation.
• Mobilise cross-functional teams: rally stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Policy and Operations.
• Turn strategy into action: write executive presentations and execute campaigns, CRM communications and operational fixes.
• Influence product and investment priorities by partnering with global teams to advocate for ANZ needs.
• Drive commercial excellence: define success metrics, evaluate trade-offs and optimise initiatives.
