Job summary

Planted Solar is seeking a Growth Lead to establish and scale our presence in Australia. You will own the market, build a local channel with EPCs, and drive the techno-economic case to win projects.

You will report to the global Growth and Strategy leadership and shape the Australian go-to-market strategy. In this role you will manage a live pipeline, coordinate with US teams, and accelerate deployment through partnerships, pricing, and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial or delivery roles on Australian utility-scale solar projects.
• High autonomy to lead local market with minimal supervision.
• Existing relationships with Australian developers, IPPs, EPCs.
• Experience in channel/partner selling.
• Quantitative modelling and project estimating.
• Willing to travel regionally and interstate, including US travel.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Establish the Australian market and manage opportunities from first contact to signed agreement.
• Build the channel through local EPCs, train them, structure pricing and capacity.
• Develop techno-economic case comparing robot-installed system vs incumbents.
• Resolve questions by coordinating internal experts and keeping deals moving.
• Represent Planted in market and engage government bodies and industry groups.
