Job summary

JamesVale Recruitment Pty. is seeking an experienced Account Manager for an Australian-owned engineering consultancy in Perth. You will nurture existing client relationships and proactively generate new business, balancing 60% account management with 40% new sales activities.

The role requires a results-driven, multi-skilled professional who can collaborate with technical experts and travel as needed to develop opportunities and deliver value.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a B2B Account Management or sales role.
• Experience identifying potential clients and initiating relationships to drive sales.
• A relevant qualification in account management and/or sales, or an undergraduate degree is desirable.
• Proven ability to develop and nurture long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Account management activities with key clients to generate organic growth (~60% of the role).
• Build relationships with potential clients and manage end-to-end sales (~40% of the role).
• Develop and implement a plan of regular client interactions and visits with the broader team.
• Effectively manage the sales cycle to achieve revenue growth targets.
• Deliver quality ‘technical expert’ services and monitor client satisfaction.
• Represent the company at client meetings, exhibitions, and local networking events.
• Collaborate with internal technical experts and broader sales team.
