Job summary

TalentGo, a funded recruitment solutions enterprise in Sydney, seeks a Sales & Operations Director to lead every facet from day one. You will drive growth, manage local and global talent sourcing, and report to the Board, building a scalable operation with strong governance.

You will own P&L, budgets, pricing, and partnerships, shaping long‑term strategy while guiding a startup team toward self‑funding and sustainable expansion in Australia.

Qualifications

• Senior commercial or operational leadership in recruitment, staffing, contractor management or adjacent regulated services.
• Built‑and‑scaled operator mindset with track record of scaling early‑stage businesses.
• Consultative B2B sales drive, pitching to owners/executives and generating job orders from scratch.
• Commercial & financial acumen including P&L, budgeting, pricing and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Board to shape long‑term strategic growth and report on financial performance.
• Design hands‑on sales, marketing and channel strategies to build employer demand and drive revenue.
• Lead local and global talent sourcing operations and support successful placements in Australia.
• Own P&L performance, budgeting, pricing and cash flow oversight with external CFO support.
• Direct external partner contracts (migration legal, global sourcing, IT/AI) and ensure SLA compliance.
• Establish documented workflows and reporting metrics while ensuring legal and contractual compliance in Australia.
• Personally manage day‑to‑day administration and progressively hire and lead staff as scale increases.
