FMS Group in Australia is seeking a Group Financial Controller – Deputy CFO to lead core financial accounting, reporting, control, treasury and compliance for the growing group. Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with operational leaders to strengthen financial governance and drive performance across multiple business units.

You will coach Finance Business Partners, deliver month-end and year-end close, balance sheet integrity, cash flow forecasting and strategy support, while building

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification required or equivalent.
• Strong background in financial control, reporting and month-end processes.
• Experience leading multi‑business financial reporting and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, group reporting and cash flow reporting.
• Maintain robust financial controls and compliance across the group.
• Analyse business unit performance and drive profitability and working capital.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury and banking facilities.
• Partner with CFO and executives on forecasting and risk.
• Coach Finance Business Partners and develop the finance team.
• Drive continuous improvement in systems and processes.
